The painting was successful!! Russ, as usual, wasn't afraid to tackle a big project like painting the front room, foyer, dining room and down the hall. It is sooooooo much better now. We actually covered up three different colors with one neutral beige color. It makes our front room feel so much bigger. If you notice in the guitar hero pictures you'll see the dark green walls in the background, that are now gone! Also, thanks to his brother Derrick for helping us finish up the painting, since Russ wouldn't let me do any of it!
Makell had her first soccer game on Tuesday. There are 2 or 3 really good boys on her team that kind of dominate, so I was just hoping that she could at least kick the ball at least once, I knew that would make her happy. She was able to keep up with the boys pretty good and was able to kick the ball 3 or 4 times. Her daddy is the assistant coach, so she thinks that is pretty neat.
I had a doctor's appointment today. The twins are doing really good. I'm 28 weeks along and measuring 34 weeks. In the ultrasound they are both measuring 28 weeks and 2 days. The doctor is very pleased with their growth and how they are symmetrical to each other in their development. Looks like baby B got tired of baby A kicking her in the head, so now they are both breach! Their heads are next to each other at the top of my stomach, then baby B wraps around the right side, baby A around the left side, and their feet are next to each other down at the bottom, so they can kick each other's feet now. The doctor is betting they will not turn in time, but he says you never know, kids can be surprising, so we'll just wait and see. He said he has several goals for the pregnancy. The first goal is to get to 30 weeks, because they have a greater chance of survival. His second goal is to get to 34 weeks, because he said that's usually the normal time and at that length the babies usually get to go home with their mother. His next goal would be the ideal length and that is 37 weeks, which obviously would mean that they would be more developed. My job for the next couple of months is to take it easy and watch for any preterm labor, if that happens, then I'm to come right in to the office so they can get it stopped asap if it's too early.
Speaking of having 4 kids here soon, we've begun the task of hunting for a minivan, so we can pack this crew around! We're in the middle of researching the best make, model, year, etc. Let me know if any of you have any good suggestions. We're going to buy a used one, and it just seems like there are pros and cons to each one we've been looking at. We have been looking at the Ford Windstar or the Dodge Grand Caravan. Any drivers of these vans out there? What do you think? Guess we'll have to make a decision here pretty quick. I was thinking I still had three months left, but after today I've realized that I have anywhere from 6-9 weeks left!!
My sister had her baby girl yesterday. That's pretty exciting! I'm way happy for them. It's their third. I can't wait to meet my new neice.

I just want a new van... and someday that will happen. Brad always is telling me about the "next van" we will get. I'll have visit with him and find out. Your babies are going to be here before I know!
