Russ is still enjoying his job. He's getting some business trips scheduled for later on this year. So far he's heading to Minnesota, Chicago, Orlando, Vegas, and Florida. He's kind of exctied about all those trips. I'm excited for him. Although I'm sure he'll get tired of them after awhile.
He's taking Thursday and Friday off this week to do some work around the house. We are going to repaint our living room. The previous owners got a little paint happy before we moved in and needless to say, our house is very colorful. The front room is a dark green and it's just too dark for our tastes. We're going to paint it a very light beige, the same beige that's in the hallway and we think it will open it up and make it more cheerful. Also, we need to paint Mason's room, soon to be the babies' room. The frog green color in his room just doesn't say newborn babies to us. It should be a busy week, but I know we'll love it when we're done.
Makell enjoys soccer and kindergarten. Today she got her soccer uniform, and just out of pure luck she got the number 1 on her jersey. She couldn't be more thrilled! And she doesn't even mind the bright neon green!
Mason is turning three in a couple of weeks and is really turning into quite a talker when he wants to. I guess he's making up for lost time. He really is a sweet boy, always thinking of others and sharing his stuff with his sister all the time without even being asked to.
We had a great Easter. We spent it at my parents' house. 3 of my siblings and their spouses were there and there were 13 of the 20 grandkids there. It was a lot of fun to get together. I have a great family.
That's about it. I'll go in next week for another check up and ultrasound.
