Update!

I had two doctor's appointments this week. Everything is going really good. I was so happy to have it be Sat. night last week and know that my doc was back in town. He told me that I can back off of the medicine and only take it as needed for my contractions. That's been nice, no more jitteries. That was Monday.

I went again today, and we monitored the babies for about 30 minutes each. They are both doing really good. He's pretty sure that they will come next week. I'm at 35 weeks and two days, so the scary part is over, now it's just trying to give them some bonus time and fattening them up a bit. He said that at my appointment next week we'll do an ultrasound to see how big they are now. On Monday he wanted me to go at least 10 more days, which is now one week from today. I think I can make it! I've been taking it really easy.

I now have a friend taking Makell to school and a different friend bringing her home. That really helps. So, basically I just try to lay around all day and stay off my feet as much as possible. Oh yea, and he measured my belly and I'm measuring at 43 weeks!! Pretty crazy!

Yesterday my visiting teacher, Sandra, called me and said she'd like to take my kids to Arctic Circle for lunch and then let them play at their indoor playground. Of course my kids were more than willing to go with her. She came for them at about 12:30 and didn't bring them home until 3pm. I got a nice shower in and even a nice nap in. That was so nice of her. She says she has 8 kids, so she remembers what it's like. Also, Tammy, my visiting teaching companion called me up and said she has tons of movies I can borrow. She listed them off and told me she'd drop some off. So, yesterday she came to my door with a bunch of movies to get me through this time. That was so thoughtful.

I'm looking forward to a nice long weekend, with Russ having Monday off. It will be different. In TV he didn't have many holidays off at all. He's painting the nursery this week. He primed last night and tonight he'll start on the light yellow. It will be adorable. I'm really excited!
