Wow- we've survived 2 weeks!

Today Kenedi and Paige are two weeks old! I can't believe that we have all survived!! With many and I mean many sleepless nights, and tons and tons of dirty diapers, somehow we have all made it to week 2! The babies are doing good. We will take them in to their two week appointment on Friday. Yesterday we took Paige to Primary Children's Hospital to have an ultrasound done on her hips. Apparantly when females are born breech, there's a chance they could have displacement of the hip, and if it's caught early enough it can be corrected with a brace. The technician and doctor both seemed to think the pictures looked good, but they were going to study it out a bit more and let our pediatrician know. We think we are in the clear.

Just thought I'd post a few updated pictures so everyone knows we are all still alive at the Olsen household. The first 4 days at home we were blessed with a meal coming in every night from a ward member. That was very nice and much appreciated. Russ started going back to work last Thursday was his first full day. I haven't had the four kids all by myself much yet thanks to family members taking Makell and Mason on sleepovers and outings. Today I have had all four kids and it hasn't been too bad at all. It's kind of fun and the big kids love to help me with the babies. Of course, the babies are easy now since they can't escape their bed and get into any mischief! Just wait until I have 4 kids running around. Wow!! Guess I'll sign off for now and see what I can come up with for dinner.

I keep telling Brad we need to find an excuse to come down there.... wait you are the excuse! Okay with gas prices, I have to think of more reasons to travel. Next time we need to go to walmart... and target... and other stuff.

Melissa,
Yea, I hear you! That's the one nice thing about keeping these babies and myself in the house for awhile- all the gas money I'm saving not running around!! Next time you are down this way we'd love to have you for a visit! Hope you're having a fun summer!

Yay! You survived! What sweet little babies. I cant believe how much bigger Kenedi is than Paige. It's a good think Paige came breech and not Kenedi. I am so anxious to hold those little girls. Wenesday can't come fast enough! Did you get my e-mail about coming in the morning instead of the afternoon?
