"Sales Meetings"

Our weekly happenings for Feb. 18-24, 2008:

Well, it was definitely a fun week for Russ at work. He had "Sales Meetings" from Wed. through Sun. They did meet during the day to brainstorm and make plans, then they would make sure they had lots of fun playing, too. Let's just say he ate really good last week, at Pepperbelly's, Maddox, and can't forget the $27 breakfast buffet at Little America Hotel in Salt Lake.
They also went snowmobiling one day and go cart racing one evening, on Sunday they even went to Music and the Spoken Word before the out of staters flew out. President Monson walked right past Russ down the aisle. Russ said it was pretty cool to see him. He is really enjoying his job at Taxworks as a Sales Assistant. He seems to fit in really well there.

The kids and I kept ourselves busy with kindergarten, cleaning, shopping, and a Drs. appt. The babies are growing good and I'm feeling pretty good most days. Our new Friday night tradition has become pulling out the bed from the couch and letting the kids have a sleepover in the living room and watch a movie with popcorn. They love it and it gives us a break from getting them to bed. So of course we did that this past weekend, but since Russ was still off playing, I joined the kids and we watched many episodes of Hannah Montana, Makell's new favorite show! We also went window shopping for some bunkbeds for Makell and Mason. Found some good bookshelf ones, so that will be one of our next purchases!

We use to do that Friday nights with our girls. Now we don't have that couch, so we just let them lay on the living room floor. I love those days. I enjoy watching Hannah Montona too. She is funny and really a good example. Russ has an awesome job by the sound of sales meetings.
